L’Chaim Feline began as the need for behavior modification and training for cats that belonged to my L’Chaim Canine clients. After going into homes where, although I was working with the dog, I saw that the cat was also in need of bahavior modification and mental enrichment. I wanted to be able to advocate for the cats from the point of view of a professional. I began attending Feline Behavior seminars in order to learn the latest in scientific information available in behavior and behavior modification.

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and owner of L’Chaim Canine a training business located in Northeast Ohio. Having titled my first Rottweiler, Greta, in 1994 I became an instructor at the school she trained at. Originally a traditional trainer using punishment based methods based in dominance theory, I crossed over to science based positive reinforcement training. You will now find me clicking and treating my Rottweilers, Collies and of course, my cats!
